How to Make Money From Internet Surveys

The Internet is undeniably one of life’s most useful tools. It can also help you earn money. Do you own a car? Have two dogs? Eat out on a regular basis? Have you filed an auto insurance claim in the last 5 years? Do you have a bank account? If you do any of those activities (or millions of others) you can give your opinion about your experiences. Better yet, you can often be financially rewarded for it.

  1. Step 1

Find companies looking for applicants. Most companies employ a third party to create surveys for them. Once you've found companies seeking applicants, divide them into categories and decide which ones you are most interested in working with. Survey companies usually require candidates to give out detailed personal information before you can take a single survey. This can mean anything from the make and model of your car to the ages and dates of birth of your children (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

Register with as many companies as you can. Set aside a solid block of time. Sit down in front of your computer with all of your personal information nearby. Use that time to sign up for all the survey companies you would like to work with. Cut and paste all information into a word file so you don’t have to type the same data multiple times.

  3. Step 3

Consider creating an additional email address reserved just for surveys If you don’t wish to have your primary email box flooded with surveys that you may or not may wish to fill out. Add this email to your PayPal account (see Resources below).

  4. Step 4

Understand the concept. Internet survey rewards typically fall into one of three categories: sweepstakes entries, points for prizes (such as amazon gift certificates) and actual cash rewards. Sweepstakes entries can be for cash or for a specific prize. Prizes usually require a certain level of accrued points to be used. Cash rewards are usually paid via PayPal account or personal check.

  5. Step 5

Reap the rewards. Even if you don’t fully qualify to complete a survey many companies will still reward you with points. So it can make sense to complete as many as possible. A survey can run anywhere from a few minutes of your time to over half an hour. Longer surveys normally mean bigger compensation. Companies may also send out products for evaluation. A product will arrive in the mail and you’ll be often asked to fill out a survey online about your opinion. A company may also schedule a phone interview to ask for your judgment in detail. Most of the time you’ll be free to keep the product after completing the interview.

  1. Step 1

About.com has assembled a list of more than 40 links of legitimate money-making opportunities (which themselves link to over 1,000 sites!).

  2. Step 2

Google Knol has a terrific article on the best of the best sites for making money on the internet, covering writing, photography, freelance opportunities, temp work, playing games (really!), jury duty (also...really!), and many others.

How to Get Paid to Search the Internet

Do you want to get paid just for searching the internet? The program I'm about to recommend actually provides better results than just Google alone because it pulls the top Search Engine results from Google, Yahoo and MSN to provide you with the best search results available.

Insrtuctions

  1. Step 1

In order to get paid to search the internet you need to create an account with Scour (I'll include the link below). And in case you're wondering, yes they pay! I have been paid by them and I know other people who have been paid by them too.

  2. Step 2

It's free to create a Scour account. You can download the Scour toolbar and also change your search box to default to Scour (click on the arrow next to the icon at the left of your search box and pick the blue S). This way, you don't have to remember to use Scour for your searches, you'll do it automatically.

  3. Step 3

When you first start there are 4 ways to earn points. You earn one point for each search. You also earn a point for rating your search results and you earn another point if you leave a comment on the site. The 4th way is through referrals - you get paid 25% of their points.

  4. Step 4

Once you have reached enough points to cash out, you request your payment and will receive a Visa gift card within 4 to 6 weeks. The amount of the gift card depends on the point level where you decide to cash out. If you're willing to wait until you get more points, it's fewer points for your gift card. Last time I checked it's 6500 points for a $25 gift card. That doesn't seem like much - but realize that you're not doing anything to earn the money!

  5. Step 5

Use Scour's referral tools to get paid even more for searching the internet. Send emails to your friends and family to let them know Scour is available and it pays. Don't bug them to join though - no one likes to feel pressured to do anything! You can also post your referral link in appropriate places in forums.

How to Make Money by Entering Sweepstakes

With unemployment rates at an all time high and many people scrambling just to find money to pay their utility bills, it is possible to make money by entering sweepstakes.

Entering sweepstakes is easier than ever and there are many legitimate companies, such as Coca Cola, who are giving away anything from gift cards for groceries to college scholarships. Here are some tips on how to find these contests and how to go about choosing the sweepstakes to enter.

Step 1

It is a great idea to narrow down the things you would like to win. If you are working and can't take time out for a vacation, then do not enter vacation contests unless there is an option for cash. Choose sweepstakes that have prizes that you will be able to use or sell for cash if you do not want to keep it. (Not everyone wants to drive a gas guzzling Ford 350 truck but if you won one, you could sell it and keep the cash!)

Step 2

Set up an email account just for entering contests. This way you will not lose a "you are a winner" or "daily entry reminder" email in the midst of all your other emails. You can get a free email address on yahoo.com or gmail.com as well as several other sites. Make it easy to access and check your email at least once a day.

Make sure you always enter an accurate telephone number on sweepstakes entries. Answer all of your calls -- many companies will call using a restricted number. If you don't answer, you may lose out on a prize!

Step 3

Once you have decided what type of contests you would like to win, you can start your sweepstakes search. There are many sites on the web that list current, legitimate contests on their site. This is a big plus because you can search through one site for the type of prizes you are looking to win.
There are several great sites listed in the resources section at the end of this article.

Step 4

Another option is to go directly to the websites of large companies such as Coca Cola, Gillette, Hellman's, Kraft or any brand named company you like. Sign up for their email newsletters and you will be notified of upcoming sweepstakes sponsored by their company.

Step 5

There are different types of contests such as instant win, daily entry and one time entry contests. Instant win contests often have small prizes daily with a final grand prize winner drawn out of everyone who tried for the instant win prizes. The daily prizes are generally small but it's worth try for the big prize while possibly winning items like $25 gift cards or new products that the company is featuring.

Step 6

Make sure that if you enter a daily entry contest that you check off the box on the entry for that says, "Remind me to play". This will prompt a reminder email to be sent to your email every day.
One time entries are easiest because you don't have to remember to go back. The prizes are usually bigger but you do have to be patient. Enter as many of the contests as you can that have ending dates coming up within the next few weeks. This doesn't up your odds but it does force you to get it done instead forgetting and having the contest end.

Step 7

Set aside time to enter contests each day. If you download an application such as RoboForm (the link is in the reference section), you will be able to enter contests more quickly as your basic information will automatically fill in without extra typing.

Step 8

Enter contests daily. It may sound like work, but if you are out of work or could use a cash or merchandise prize, it just might be worth it to take 30 minutes a day to enter the sweepstakes that interest you.
It doesn't cost you anything but time to enter sweepstakes, so give it a try!

How to Make Money Writing Santa Letters

Did you know you can make money writing letters from Santa? Santa letters -- letters from Santa to specific children, usually requested by parents -- can make a good source of writing income during the holidays. Many freelance writers and work-at-home moms write delightful Santa letters as a way to earn extra income and spread holiday cheer. Here's how to make money writing Santa letters.

Instructions

Step 1
Holiday Cheer
Holiday Cheer

Begin to advertise your Letters from Santa in early November. Many people will see your ad several times before acting on it. Make a flyer to give to your Christian school or post on your church bulletin board. Advertise online on your local Craig's List.

Step 2

Team up with a non-profit organization and offer to give them a portion of the proceeds. You can then include their name in your advertisements, increasing customers, and they will help promote your letters from Santa.

Step 3

Decide on a price and what features your letter will included. On the website "Stamped by Santa," personalized letters from Santa are $9.95. These include references to the child's accomplishments that year and are on candy-cane scented paper.

Step 4

Create a brief questionnaire/ order form for parents. Ask about their children's' interests, age, family members, pets, and favorite toys and nickname to make your letter more personal. List your price and note any discount for multiple children in the same family.

Step 5

Compose kind and heartfelt letters from Santa. Make several basic templates and customize them to each child.

Step 6

Deliver the Letters from Santa in a timely manner. If they are ordered enough in advance, you can send them all to the Postmaster at North Pole, AK for a special stamp.

How to Make Money From YouTube Without Being a Partner

Being a partner isn't the only way to make money off of your YouTube channel, there are many other ways to make money through YouTube, and i will show you how

Instructions

Step 1

Make your YouTube account and figure out what most people already know; the people on the most subscribed list are making a lot of money. They get promoted by YouTube and are able to capitalize on making funny or informative videos, but you don't need to be on that list to make good money.

Step 2

Find the latest videos posted by the most famous YouTubers, and make responses that are funny, sarcastic and/or cynical that relate directly to that video. If the youtuber likes it he may favorite it or even mention you in one of his videos. Favorites help because they post to the youtubers channel and it's like free advertisement.

Step 3

Find the latest Top Videos, and Viral videos and make a video as soon as possible to them. People will be clicking on videos they find related to those videos and your can be one of them. Make sure the videos are related and include the parts i stated in the 2nd step.

Step 4

Once you have built up a good base of viewers, you can start a blog. People who are subscribed to you and see that other people are interested in you will want to know more about what you can offer. Start a free blog with blogger.com, post a few blogs and once you do, add Google AdSense so you can have ads next to your blogs. AdSense pays for clicks on their ads through your website.

Step 5

Once you have set up your ads, make a video response to a popular video like before, but at the add a link to your blog. Be very specific about this. Tell them something along the lines of "Don't forget to check out my blog, Link in the sidebar, to find out what else happened" make it fit with the video you are responding too and post a link to your blog in the sidebar.

Step 6

The more times you promote your blog in your videos, the more people will visit your blog and be more interested in it. Make sure to keep your blog updated with short posts that can be related to the videos you post so you can have some credibility with your viewers.

Step 7

You can see revenue roll in as early as the first day you send people to your site. Depending on how fast your subscribers list grow you can earn hundreds, even thousands of dollars a month through adsense, and all of this is done without being a partner.

Step 8

Now you can always apply for partnership when you have at least 500 subscribers and have adsense ads put up next to your videos, but this is way to earn money without having to be a partner because some people with over 1500 subscribers still arent allowed in the program.

How to Make Money Online With YouTube

Learn how to make money on YouTubeAny good businessman knows that you get money from people, and you get people from advertising. You can’t make a cent unless you know how to reach your consumer base. The Internet has enabled more people than ever before to make money online, and one of the most surprising ways to do this is through a network that billions of us use every day without a second thought: people are making money on YouTube. And we’re not talking spare change; some of them are even making a living this way. Here are some tips on how to make money on YouTube:

Instructions

Step 1
Take advantage of your computer tools. If you simply track popularity ratings using Google Analytics and the new YouTube Insight tool, you’ll find exactly which videos are most effective and why. This can prep you for your own advertisement by pointing you in the right direction.
Step 2
Research and find out where to go. Making money on YouTube isn’t as complicated as most people imagine, and you don’t even have to sell anything with your ad. For example, YouTube has a tool especially for advertisers called the “InVideo” application. Sponsored by Adbrite (an advertising mega corporation) this handy little thing gets your video up and running in no time. If you make an interesting video clip that draws audiences, Adbrite will put one of their ads on the front or back end of it and pay you every time your clip gets a hit.
Step 3
Promote your own product. If you have a start-up or personal business idea and you’d like to make money online with it, this is a great way to begin. Make sure that all of your video material is original. It should also be creative and interesting, or else there will be no reason for people to view your video rather than someone else’s. The modern attention span is constantly shortening. Luckily for you, this means that with the right amount of pizazz, you can hold their 13-second focus long enough to make a sale.
Step 4
Be subtle and clever. Modern marketing shows us that your advertisement should be funny and witty first and foremost. It doesn’t take a whole lot to bridge this to a product. Sometimes subliminal messaging gets the job done better than you might think, and all you need for that is a company logo watermarked somewhere on your video.
Step 5
People are making money on YouTube all the time; for some of them it’s lucrative enough that they do nothing else. Once you know how to tap into this opportunity, you can do the same. While you're here be sure to take a look around for more tips and information on making money online.

How to Make Money With Adsense Using Free Google Blogger Blog

We are bombarded with suggestions concerning making money with a blog that you must have the highest quality-looking site in order to make money from Google's Adsense. That couldn't be further from the truth, and that suggestion comes from the so-called A-list bloggers who endlessly sell newbies a large number of products they really have no use for.The truth is actually the opposite; the more amateur and bland your blog looks, the more people that click on Adsense ads just to leave the site as quickly as possible. That's the secret.

Instructions

Step 1
Having said all this, you have to at least have the blog functional and, at minimum, readable. The reason is, while you don't want to have a blog look so good that people hang around too long, it still must pass the human reading test employed by Google staff.
Step 2
The goal of having a blogger blog is to not even have people read your content, but take one quick look at the blog and leave; hopefully by clicking on an Adsense ad.
Step 3
Why this is a win/win for everyone, is your content should be written in such a way, that you're drawing the right visitors to your site, who are more than glad to click on a targeted ad which meets their interests. It's not unethical in any way, just wise, and doing Google, consumers, advertisers, and yourself a favor. Everybody wins!
Step 4
You draw the right visitors by including your keywords in the URL, blog title, blog post title, and scattered throughout out your content.Make sure you use your keywords at the beginning and end of your post, as Google scans those areas to make its key determination in what your blog is all about.
Step 5
You don't make money with Google Adsense by getting readers, you make money by attracting targeted visitors, looking for answers to something specific. They don't care what your blog looks like or if the answers come from you. If a Google Adsense ad gives it, all the better for everyone involved.
Step 6
So grab a free Google Blogger blog, include you keyword in the blog title and description, and start putting up targeted, niche content.

How to Make Money Online Teaching English

Teaching the english language online is becoming more and more popular. Using MSN messenger, Skype or any other web-cam chat client can get you work teaching English! You can set your own hours and availability, and the pay isn’t bad either if you’re a good instructor! There are also dedicated online language schools who hire instructors for their students.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

Ideally, you should have some sort of certification to show to your prospective students or employers. It’s much better then not having one, and besides, you’ll learn a lot if you do decide to go through some sort of certification program. Check out www.tefl.com or www.tefl.net for more details.

  2. Step 2

After you get your certification, you can then search for students or an online school. The easiest way is to do a search. There are even sites that will let you post your information and they will get students for you for a small fee. Many language students will post the need for an online tutor on language bulletin boards. Some will request free instruction, but most will pay.

  3. Step 3

Offer a competitive rate locally per session at the location of the student, and probably a little less since you are teaching online. Online teaching may not make you rich, however, it is always in demand and there’s plenty of work. You just have to go out and get it!

  4. Step 4

Start teaching! If going solo, you may want to compose some lessons in advance so you don’t have to wing it the entire session. Most online language schools already have lessons composed.

How to Make Money Online as a Brand New Freelance Writer

People who are new to freelance writing have a hard time finding new writing gigs. Unless the new writer knows a lot of people personally who can benefit from her writing services, brand new writers have to spend lots of time seeking assignments. Fortunately, online writing assignments are plentiful and help new writers get exposure, experience and confidence. Here are a few tips on how to make money as a new freelance writer.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

Research paying web content sites. Start by researching sites that accept freelance content in exchange for revenue sharing. Sites such as eHow, Suite 101, HubHow, and Associated Content, to name a few, will pay writers for their work. There are bidding sites such as Elance and Odesk, but brand new writers usually don’t have the confidence to bid for assignments. If you do, however, go ahead and use bidding sites.

  2. Step 2

Review the writer's agreement for each site. Some sites allow you to retain the rights to your article and some don't. Make sure you read the writers agreements for each of the sites to ensure you that you do not violate the terms of service before you begin writing for them.

  3. Step 3

Understand the payment structure. Some sites will pay upfront for your work and other sites pay on a residual basis after your work is published and generated traffic and ad revenue. Most sites don't share how they dole out the ad revenue so it’s difficult to make a determination as to which site pays better until you actually have experience with them. Or, you can visit online writing forums to get feedback from other more experience writers about the sites you’re thinking of writing for.

  4. Step 4

Sign up with several web content writing sites. The way freelance writers make lucrative incomes writing online is through diversification. Sign up for several content sites to avoid placing all your eggs in one basket.

  5. Step 5

Write, write, write. Once you sign up for several sites, write articles and submit them to each. Some sites offer editorial feedback. This is good because editor critique is a good way to help improve your writing. Don’t take it personally. The editor generally is there to help you improve your writing and improve your traffic.

  6. Step 6

Build a large base of articles on each site. The way to truly understand how well these sites pay their writers is to develop a large reservoir of articles. Over time the residual income will continually increase. Weed out the ones that aren’t producing as well as the others.

  7. Step 7

Look for off-line opportunities. Once you have several articles published online, it's a little easier to seek and land off-line writing gigs. Many editors want to see samples of your work. With having so many articles published online, it's easier to print out and share your samples.

Tips For Making Money On the Internet

  1. 1

Read this, just for a bit of inspiration. I make about $2000 a month on the internet. Not enough for me and my family to live on, but a nice addition to my income just the same. It's pretty easy, and pretty quick, to get a SMALL income stream started. It takes time and effort to build it up. Might as well get started today.

  2. Step 2

Take stock of what you have to offer. If you are a writer, programmer, designer, or photographer, there are oodles of opportunities for you. If you have a speciality of any sort -- carpentry, raising kids, planning vacations or weddings, playing Guitar Hero 3 -- you can get paid for your expertise. Even if you think all you can offer is time, there are opportunities for you as well.

  3. Step 3

Scan the steps below. Pick the one that seems the best fit, and start exploring.

  4. Step 4

Freelance Work (sometimes called "personal outsourcing"). If you have a skill to offer, check out the various freelance sites like elance.com and guru.com (see the Resources, below). You can post your skills at these sites, so potential customers can check you out, and you can also look around for freelance projects that others have posted.

  5. Step 5

There are tons of opportunities for freelancers, in very varied fields. Common projects, though, are writing, computer or design work -- creating web pages, programming, writing brochures or reports, illustration and photography, and so on.

Pay can be pretty good, especially after you've earned a quality rating at one or more of the freelancing sites.

Take a look at the "How Elance Works" video on their main page to get a quick overview.

  6. Step 6

Writing. There are a number of ways to take your skill as a writer and turn it into cash (links are in Resources, below).

One of them is right here at eHow. Write brief "How to" articles on any topic of your choosing, and get paid for the article. The more popular the article, the more income you can expect. A good article will bring in $50 per year or more. Write 10 articles, and that's $500. A hundred articles...you get the picture.

  7. Step 7

More writing. (a) At SoftwareJudge.com, write reviews of select software products...top reviews earn up to $50 each. (b) Product Reviews. You may be familiar with epinions.com, but did you know they pay cash for good quality reviews. You won't get rich, but you can get started. (c) Suggest domain names according to site descriptions at Pickydomains.com Get $25 for each name that is chosen. (d) At Xomba.com, write anything you feel like, and collect 50% of any advertising income from Adsense clicks on your page.

  8. Step 8

Research/Question and Answer (Q&A) Sites. I earn much of my income as an online researcher, answering folks questions on everything under the sun: investments, market research, divorce law, homework help...you name it. If this sounds like your cup of tea, take a look at the resources in the next step.

  9. Step 9

    (a) The Association of Independent Information Professionals (aiip.org) can help you build you own Q&A website and business.

    (b) I work with Uclue.com Though they are not accepting new researchers right now, it's worth a look to see how a well-developed Q&A site works.

    (c) Another Q&A site is JustAnswer, and they offer small payments for answers to questions.

  10. Step 10

Use (or build) your own blog or website to make money online. The key is to generate as much traffic as you can, and to have your visitors click on ads and affiliate links. The more people visiting your site, clicking on ads, and buying affiliate products, the more income you can earn. As good as this sounds, income is generally more a trickle than a flood. But again, steadily building your site (or sites), and building traffic, is the key to generating a steadily growing stream of income. The resources in the next step can help get you started.

  11. Step 11

The best resources I know of for ads and affiliates are: (a) Google AdSense (b) AssociatePrograms.com (c) Commission Junction

Also, at Orble.com, you can take ownership of an abandoned blog with a specific focus, like Film, or Travel, and collect a portion of the ad revenues. The advantage of this is that the blog is already well-represented in search engines, and can often generate much more traffic than a new blog of your own. See Orble under the Resource links, below, for more information.

  12. Step 12

Photography...At istockphoto.com you can upload still photos or videos for sale, and receive a small royalty payment every time someone makes use of your content.

  13. Step 13

Surveys. CashCrate.com makes it possible to get paid to take online surveys. They strike me as legitimate, but I confess, I don't have any first-hand experience with it, so approach with caution...

SurveyScout.com is another possibility, but unlike CashCrate, they charge a membership fee before you can get started (Boo!). I've also heard some negative feedback from users of this site, so proceed with caution (if you proceed at all!).

  14. Step 14

Teaching/Tutoring. Search on [ Online tutoring ] and you'll uncover dozens of sites in this booming corner of the internet. Many accept applications for online tutors, with variable rates and topic areas. Two to consider are tutor.com and ehomeworkhelp.com

  15. Step 15

Online "Jury Duty". Here's an odd one. Lawyers looking for feedback on how a case will play before a jury use online e-jury sites to solicit input from the type of average citizens that show up on juries. Yes, you get paid. Fees for complex cases can run over $50, though $20 is more typical. To serve as an online juror, check out onlineverdict.com, or trialpractice.com. UPDATE: I've heard from some users that at least one online jury duty site has no real actual work to offer, so use these services with eyes wide open!

  16. Step 16

Virtual office assistant. At TeamDoubleClick, you can sign on for temporary jobs as an office assistant, handling correspondence, emails, bookkeeping, data entry, and other office jobs. Think of it as an online temp agency for virtual work. Pay is varied, but you are not obliged to take jobs that don't meet your financial needs.

  17. Step 17

Moola.com. This is the strangest one yet, and I can't personally vouch for it (I've only tinkered with the site), but it looks legitimate. Moola starts you off by giving you a penny, which you can then double, and double again, through a variety of games and activities. Presumably, they make oodles of money through ads, and are willing to through some of it your way by participating in their zany set of games and marketing gimmicks. They call themselves a "Massively Multiplayer Rewards Game". It's too complicated to explain here, but worth a look.

  18. Step 18

Crowdsource design. "Crowdsourcing" is the buzzword for getting a lot of people to do your work for you. If you're good at designing things like t-shirts, logos, fancy fonts, and other graphics, take a look at the challenges at 99designs.com and threadless.com, where you can collect hundreds of dollars if your design is chosen.

  19. Step 19

Blogging. How does $100 a month sound for writing a few blog posts every week? That's what you can be paid (actual range is $84-140) if you get accepted as a blogger at Creative Weblogging. They are a large blog network, and seem to have mastered the art of monetizing their many sites. All they need are people to write them, and keep the content fresh.

  20. Step 20

Blogging, photos, video, you name it. Flixya offers 100% of ad revenue to anyone who posts at their website (you need to have your own Google Adsense account to participate). Words, pictures, videos, whatever ya got. Post it, bring in some traffic, and collect some ad clicks. (Haven't tried it yet myself, but flixya has a good reputation).

  21. Step 21

Thanks to commenter bseidel for pointing out good links to micro stock photography sites, where you can upload photographs, and get paid for every one purchased from the site. A good starting site is BNPS, where photographers get about 50% of the purchase price of every photo sold.

  22. Step 22

Another site that pays for content is mylot.com (in fact, they promise earnings everytime you use the site!). Haven't given them a test run yet, so if you have experience with them, please post a comment, below.

  23. Step 23

At slicethepie.com, you can get paid for listening to music. Say what!!! Yep, listen to upcoming artists, and review their music. The more reviews you write -- and the better you are at spotting new talent -- the more you can get paid. Some folks are pulling in several dollars per review.

  24. Step 24

If you have good typing skills, consider Speak-Write.com, an online dictation service.

  25. Step 25

You can participate in online focus groups, where you review a product you've used, or discuss an issue of interest to you. Payment ranges from about $50-150 per session. Participants are typically asked to join a group once or twice a year.

  26. Step 26

Woo Hoo! Google Knol is live. This online encylopedia-like site is a place where anyone can contribute content, and you can place Adsense ads on your article to generate revenue. Though a pretty new site, it's Google, and likely to generate a lot of traffic. Which means a good opportunity for advertising income.

  27. Step 27

Website review. You can get paid for reviewing websites. Usertesting.com pays $10 per website review. It's not open-ended...you have to be selected to test, based on your demographic profile.

  28. Step 28

Ready for this? You can earn money reading emails! Of course, there are ads involved, and you might be asked to click a few things, but it's not difficult. Expect to get 5-10 emails a day (more, if you register multiple email addresses), and earn a few pennies per email.

  29. Step 29

Little bit of everything. Genuinejobs.com is a legitimate work-at-home site that lists hundreds of jobs, none of which require a fee, and many of which can be done online. Registration is simple...worth checking out.

  30. Step 30

Write for the NY Times. Really! The Times owns two sites that regularly hire writers. ConsumerSearch.com uses freelance writers to create detailed reviews of common consumer products...minimum pay is $350 per write-up, and they do a lot of hiring. About.com, another Times property, hires writers as guides. These positions, paying $725/month or more, are tougher to get, but worth looking into.

  31. Step 31

In the six months or so since I first posted this article, I must say, I've found no better site than right here at eHow.com for earning income online (I'm up to about $1,000 a month!). At present, it's only available to residents in the US, but if that's you, give it a try.
